I think the Chiefs coaching staff is just as important as the scouting and drafting in terms of development of this guys.

Because you're ****ing absolutely clueless. Belichick the GM is ****ing terrible and he's exactly the reason why that roster is complete and utter shit at this point. There's just no way you could look at his draft history over the last 5-8 years and tell me that we'd have the same exact success with him as GM as we have with Veach, who's become one of the best drafters in the league.

The addition of Reid and Mahomes to any of those rosters immediately makes any one of them a contender.

Belichick had the success he had because of Tom Brady and the fact that he's a defensive wizard. His ability or lack thereof to find talent would be on full display if he's not coaching the defense too.

This is a decent argument if you think the synergy between BelichickHC and Brady is greater than that of Reid-Mahomes.

Jerry Jones is not a ****ing scout. He's not the guy that found Tony Pollard you buffoon. He listens to his asvisors and the guys that do the leg work. That's it. I'm pretty sure his son has more say than he does these days.

John Lynch is probably the most overrated GM in the NFL at this point. He's not bad, but nowhere near Veach and Roseman. He also gets to be in the NFC where there are like 2-3 legit contenders. They would jot have the same level of success they've had in the AFC.

The GM who's built the most loaded roster in the league and made three of the last four NFCCGs with two different QBs is "not bad". K.

I don't care if they added Ridely. That team has shown the first 3 weeks that they haven't improved much, if at all. That's disasterous considering where they are right now with Trevor.

It's apparent that their regression has most to do with Lawrence. GM has loaded the offense up with weapons at every position, including adding another prime target at WR this season. At some point the #1 overall draft pick has to earn his keep.

From an un emotional standpoint, you could say he's only really had a good 2/3 year stretch of moves here, paired with Andy and Pat has made this juggernaut. Going forward, I wouldn't be surprised to see him just keep stacking elite offseasons though. Seems to have really found his groove.

I think where some would push back against him at this point is that Schneider and Howie have done it longer and multiple times.
