I hope you guys are right about him. Fantastic measurables but would have liked to see more from him in college. If he can be Torrey Smith, I'd be happy.

Why the hate? Seems like a good spot for him in the 3rd. If he develops it is a steal in the draft. If he plays average or roleplayer then worth his slot.

GUYS! guys, guys....

We all need to calm the F down. Drafts are all easy to predict.

I have played Fantasy Football for two years. I know how to do this. It all comes down to the best player on the board per the CBS draft speculation list. They pick it for you! These Chiefs front office gentleman know what is up and have all teh informations.

Just go with what they say and we will be good. Stop worrying.

PS: If anyone wants to play oversized Jenga or Connect four, I will be at that bar in Westport next to Buzzard Beach tomorrow after 4 pm.

Maclin 4.43
Conley 4.35
Wilson 4.43
Kelce 4.62 (at almost 270 pounds!)
Charles 4.38
Thomas 4.34
Davis 4.37

That's a metric ton of hot nasty speed on offense.

Alex Smith needs to put it all together and find a way to crank up the deep ball 4-5 times PER GAME...if he does, this offense can really be explosive.

Paired with this defense....the Chiefs are gonna be tough to beat...especially down the stretch when some of these rookies start to contribute.

dorsey certainly loves speed. defense is ridiculously fast as well

Branch 4.26
Gaines 4.34
Parker 4.35
Cox 4.36 (udfa we just signed)
Commings 4.41
Cooper 4.45
Berry 4.47
Smith 4.47 (thats pretty damn fast for a 6'3 corner)

the d line is full of physical freaks as well.

the david irving kid we signed is 6'7 3/4, 4.82 40, 38" vert,10'8 broad. 87 3/4 wing span. his arms have to be 37". pretty crazy.

also the udfa TE we added. will tye ran a 4.47 at 260.
reid can figure out a way to use hi

edit: cant forget about pryor for now either i guess as he ran a 4.38.

I love the highlight videos. It not only gives is a glimpse of Conley, but also gives us some more looks at Aaron Murray and most importantly, the chemistry between Murray and Conley...which seems to be very good.

The fact that we have drafted so many Georgia Bulldogs has got my wheels turning, a bit. Questions like: "What is the KC-Georgia connection?" "What or who prompted their interest in them?" "What plans do they have for Murray?" "What plans do they have for all of the Georgia Bulldog-Chiefs." "Houston, Ramik, Murray, Conley, Commings...what prompted this trend?" "What appeals the most to the staff about Murray and Conley? Is it the 2 individually that appeals the most or is it the combination of the two and the chemistry/past positive results that appeal the most? Or both?" "Are our scouts stumbling upon some of these guys while scouting other players?" "Did Conley hit their radar when they scouted Murray?"

Tons of questions like that regarding Georgia-KC players have been repetitively crossing my mind.

It is a certainty that either there is a Georgia-KC connection, or we straight up just scout the shit out of those guys.

I don't think it is THAT much of a stretch to start thinking that maybe the Chiefs have more planned for Murray in the future than we were all anticipating. Although he isn't the ideal size for an NFL starting QB...he doesn't have a cannon for an arm (although I personally think it is adequate...not THAT weak...to say that he doesn't have just as good or a better arm than Daniel is ludicrous, IMO). However, he was a very, very accomplished QB in college... He was the first SEC QB to pass for over 3000 yards in all 4 seasons. Hell, he broke the almighty SEC career passing/TD records in college. I mean, there were certain factors that contributed to this that were helpful, IMO. One component would be that he started all 4 years...which enabled him to rack up the hefty career numbers. Another component would be some of the WR's he threw to being really good...AJ Green, Marlon Brown, Kris Durham, Brandon Boykin, Tavarres King, CHRIS MAH-FUGGIN CONLEY, etc. the dude has a real impressive resume...and it is very cool that Chris Conley was a key factor in helping Murray rack up those impressive numbers/feats.

Man... I really hope they have long-term plans for Murray...and if so, I hope they give him a legit shot at competing for the backup spot and the starting spot if Alex struggles, which I am guessing, he will.

Well, they didn't draft another QB this year so Murray must be absorbing the playbook/ excelling in the classroom sufficiently and showing progress on the practice field.

True that... Just from his interviews and what not, he seemed like the type of dude who would. Seems to have a good head on his shoulders.

This may be a weird thing to say, but I have always caught the vibe from him that he seems like he would be a marketable athlete if he were to succeed. I know, I know....plays in Kansas City, no one cares about Kansas City, etc. However, the dude seems charasmatic and the fact that his brother was on that Bachelorette show...the media may eat that up a bit compared to QB's we've had in the past. People love that Bachelorette/Bachelor/mainstream reality TV show shit, and how "cute" would that be? Reality darling, Josh Murray's bro succeeding in the NFL!!! I can imagine a bunch of chicks thinking, "Aww, that's awesome!!! How cute! I wonder if his brother is as cute and nice as his Joshy?!?!" May be kind of an odd, feminine way to bring attention from general spectators to this team, but hey, it's better than our draft picks being neglected of extensive discussion when drafted on a routine basis...or our games, for that matter...

This is, of course, if he does well. I will go on the record and state: I think Aaron Murray could be a marketable athlete IF he does well.

I mean, hell...TMZ covered his breakup with his fiancée... And why did they cover this? Because he is the brother of reality darling, Josh Murray. Seriously:

http://m.tmz.com/#Article/2015/01/20...f-hot-reporter

Freaking TMZ...home base for the celeebabybrity-obsessed.

Sounds weird, but I think the kid can bring some juju/attention to the team if he steps up...and that is, of course compared to the attention KC receives now.
