MP3 Player that will play iTune Files? - Page 2

I know this will be moved eventually....

But, hey, I've got some iTunes on my PC; and am finally getting an MP3 player....but think I'm not going to go with iPod....

So, is there an MP3 player that will play iTune files, or a reliable and efficient "conversion" program that I can use to convert my iTune files....or am I screwed?

Not with Rhapsody. You don't ever get to actually HAVE the MP3. They have a subscription based service, and once you stop paying, the music is deleted from your hard drive.

I don't. I'm quite fond of it actually. The only thing that's a pain is all the updating. Anytime you update your iTunes software, you also have to update your iTunes "updater" as well. That can be found in all programs>Ipod>updater. I think that updates the software on the iPod to keep it compatible with your version of iTunes. Or something like that.

EDIT: It just dawned on me none of that applies to you since you're not using an iPod.

just bittorrent the damn music for your player and if you've got thing about needing a license for it all then buy the same stuff from itunes aswell

Files that are bought through the iTunes music store are protected and made to only play with iPods.

Like others said...you can burn them to CD's and rip that to use. Other than that, there are not a lot of options.

there's a program called "iOpener" that will "open" songs downloaded from itunes (make them non-protected) and then you can right-click and convert them to mp3.

There are a lot of programs that pop up to convert them to MP3s...some of them work some of them dont. They usually dont have a long life. It is hit and miss.
