UPDATE, 12-5-07 at 11:50pm: The Dodgers have reached an agreement with Jones - two years, $36MM. Despite all the posturing from Scott Boras, the Dodgers got Andruw for a reasonable rate and term. Nice move by Ned Colletti.

Disappointed we didn't add him as well, i guess it's either fukyoudome or kuroda(sp?)

I don't get it either... every other team acts like he's a surefire stud, the Dodgers want a big return for the guy... but then try and put as many obstacles in front of his playing time as possible.

The only good thing about this for the Dodgers is the short contract. Expensive as hell, but short.

Colletti sure loves overpaying for CFs that either suck ass (Pierre) or are declining.
