The 3rd round picks and the one at the top of the 4th

Could be huge if the Chiefs can hit on those picks. Should be a few good Gs and Cs available. This draft is suppossed to have alot of mid round talent so here's to hoping that we score.

I'd be happy with Long/Dorsey/Ellis with our first pick. I don't want Clady though.

Clady's good value at 17. If he's there the Chiefs WILL pull the trigger.

I bet he ends up in Denver, though.

I honestly never watched an Indiana game, but I've watched several videos of the guy. I was skeptical, but I'm a believer at this point. I understand these videos are the highlights, but he seems to play fast enough given his size. I think his size makes him look slower than he actually is, a little Randy Moss-like. I'd love to see him become a Chief with that 35th pick.

He's going to the Steelers anyway, Ben basically demanded a big WR.

I'd say it's a little Moss-like. Moss has incredible strides and just glides effortlessly. Hardy is more of a power runner.

But the comparison is between tall receivers who run fast. I'd take it.

Wouldn't surprise me.

I doubt he falls past the 49ers. It's a pipe dream that he gets to us.

I was going to say that too. Hardy is perfect for the Steelers, they have the speed guy in Holmes and the slot with Ward and then Hardy.

What if they decide to take Quentin Groves with their 1st round pick?

Then he's on the fast track to KC.

Highly unlikely, though. And if they took Hardy over Groves, Groves will be snatched up in a heartbeat by Miami.

If we can get one solid starter out of those picks, I'd be quite happy.

Awwww...

We should snatch about 4-6 starters out of this Draft in 2008.

Wouldn't surprise me if two handfuls of them were starting by 2010.

I watched the NFL Network last night, and they said that Jimmy Johnson got 9 starters out of 2 drafts in the early 90s, or 4.5 per year. It was rated the 2nd-best draft in the history of the NFL.

Perhaps we'll get more starters than average just because we have enormous, gaping holes at RT, RG, WR, CB, and DE, but I'm not convinced that we can beat the #2 draft classes of all time.
