Note to Herm: Wake the **** up

This is coming from your biggest (and possibly your only) supporter on Chiefs Planet.

If you send Tyler Thigpen out there one more time, you deserve the inevitable firing that will result. You thought he could play and you were very very wrong. Move on now.

No it isn't. And anyone with any two wits about them knows better.

Your Head Coach just told another bold-faced lie.
After Week 1 he said he couldn't look his players in the eye and tell them that Tyler Thigpen gave them the best chance to win against Oakland. One week later he was his DEFINITIVE starter. Last week following the loss to the Raiders he said that Huard would play in relief of Thigpen if he struggled. We went three-and-out on 5 consecutive drives. He followed that up with a pick on the 6th possession. Huard never came into the game.

That coupled with the three separate reports of what the injury was AND Huard's inability to recall when he had been injured in the post-game interview...

And I smell bullshit.

Wake the **** up.

blaming the qb is a scapegoat.

why not blame the groundskeeper...or the way the sun looked that day...or the vendor in section C...or the cheerleaders...

I never blamed the sun. They played in a dome.

Bingo.......I cant wait to see Arrowhead 1/3 full for the Denver game.

I would almost bet to see just as many DEN fans as there are Chiefs fans next week.

Here is Thigpen's stat line through 2 games:
28-for-69, 279 Passing Yards, 41% Completion Rate, 2 TD's, 4 INT's
That's good for a 38.3 QB Rating.

You're going to go on record as having given a vote of confidence through 2 games, with those numbers, from a QB that was drafted IN THE SEVENTH ROUND?

That's a load of crap. Whether Thigpen or Huard in there has absolutely nothing to do with the development of Albert or Niswanger. Cottam rarely sees the field. Bowe's numbers are BETTER with Thigpen than with Huard. All Huard ever does is throw a jump ball duck up to Tony Gonzalez or curl in the fetal position and take a sack. That doesn't help the development of the young guys any further. Winning? Who gives a crap about winning? This team wouldn't win no matter who was in at QB.

Three and outs severely cutdown offensive snaps.
Limited time hurts young players. Will Franklin and Jamaal Charles need a QB that can get them the football.

Bowe's going to get his regardless of who's at the helm.
He has that kind of talent.

This offense had success running the ball yesterday, but only after the Atlanta defense gave them room to run. By the start of the Second Half they assumed we'd come out throwing the ball. Which would've been the case if we had a respectable signal caller.

Winning football games is what Herman Edwards, Carl Peterson and this team is being paid to do.
This is the NFL. You don't tank football games so you can evaluate a 7th Round draft pick.

No - with all due respect, that's a load of crap. The young guys need to win. The feeling of winning a game helps you see what all the work is for and helps you get better. Losing is contagious and leads to players shutting down.

The team won in San Diego last year with Huard at QB. Thigpen can't look respectable, let alone win.

If you watched Matt Ryan, THAT is what a young inexperienced QB WITH POTENTIAL is supposed to look like. We don't have one on our roster.
