10 Players

You are responsible for rebuilding the Chiefs for next year. Clark has told you that you can do anything you want with free agency and the draft, but you have to retain 10 players from this years squad to retain some sense of continuity with the dwindling fan base. You want players that you can count on, as well as those that aren't a complete embarrassment.

Which 10 do you want to keep? Should you keep? Which would keep your chances of getting nuthooked in a dark alley to a minimum?

For me:

1. Colquitt
2. Succop
3. Cassel
4. Charles
5. Bowe
6. Albert
7. Dorsey
8. Hali
9. Flowers
10.Jackson

I struggled with a couple three of these, ironically three first round draft picks. I rationalized how long it took for Hali to come around and used that to justify Bowe, Dorsey and Jackson.

Who would you keep for sure?

There is no "quit" in Colquittt...aside from the letters in his name.

This team just needs to find out who would shave their heads to win.....then you get your 10.

pretty easy really

we have tons of guys that are worth keeping as long as they stay on as BACKUPS instead of starters.

Cassel - Primarily because of the money

Succop - Permanent Chief, I hope

Charles - Somebody has to make a play

Albert - Gotta start somewhere to build a OL

The rest I'd take from the defense. Long term NFL success starts with the D.

Dorsey, Flowers, Carr, Jackson, Hali and Mays (?).
