Stupid decisions ruin the NFL!

We are all big football fans on this forum. But there are some things I just hate about the game today! I say that the biggest problem in the league is how meaningless PR decisions have become a controlling factor for many teams, rather than commitments to teamwork and team development!

What am I talking about? Well...

I hate how so many teams just change QBs on a whim in the middle of a season to try to appease the fan base. They want to sell more tickets by looking like they're "DOING SOMETHING" and so they hurt the team by making random changes! Look at Washington, Oakland, Indianapolis and Denver. They are struggling to win, so instead of trying to improve by committing to teamwork and continuity, they randomly throw new QBs into the system and just hope something sticks.

This is stupid!

Everybody knows that you can't just sign a QB to a team and put him in five days later and magically expect that the team will improve. Do you remember during the lockout controversy, how Peyton Manning said that he wanted to make sure that long training camps and team activities were kept on the table? His reason for this was because he said it was absolutely necessary to maintain a high level of play! Practice and teamwork are much more important than individual talent! You can't just randomly keep putting new players in hoping that they will cause a spark! Sorry, but it just doesn't work that way! If you think it does, you are an ignorant fan!

The same is true for coaches. Why do teams stupidly fire their coach in the middle of the season, as if this will somehow bring an improvement? It doesn't! If a team happens to win a game after that, it's just luck!

If Brodie Croyle hadn't been released by the Cardinals, you'd be singing a different tune.

Are you suggesting that no NFL player should ever get benched for any play-related reason whatsoever?

You got Jizzy the reerun out there with 2 TDs and 12 INTs on the year and he has a Kyle Boller-like game. Are you saying for the purposes of "team continuity" (whatever the **** that means) this guy shouldn't get benched until the season ends?

... Teams don't give two shits about what the fans want. You're a bumbling idiot who can't even form a sentence, let alone deduce the motivations of a professional sports franchise.

So your suggestion is if something isn't working, stay with it. It just might turn around. Changing managers mid-season in baseball works all the time, but that's not such a system based sport. Usually a coaching change in football would have an asst. serve as an interim. There have been some super bowl winning teams that have switched QBs part way through the season.

Am I the only one who thinks "Start Croyle" is a mult-parody of the Chiefs' "True Fan?"

"Hamas," perhaps?

He's in the Knowmo category right now. We'd all like to believe that people that stupid don't actually exist. However, nobody has been able to prove that they're mults yet.
