Explain it to me please
Can someone tell me why the Chiefs didn't put a tag on Carr like Pittsburg has on their receiver so they could have at least got some compensation?

The Chiefs Planet mods actually run the team. Clark Hunt begged for them to bring back tags, but they refused.

Carr isn't eligible for the type of tag that Pittsburgh put on Mike Wallace because he's been in the league too long. And as others have explained, the franchise tag that could have been used was used on Bowe instead.
