Yep,when you have a superstar tweeting about the rematch with the Pats before you've even played the Jags you have a serious control issue.

Would you be open to Tomlin as our DC if that happens?
Now way that happens. Three coaches since 1969 and current coach has 48 wins including playoffs in 4 years. Not exactly the Steeler's M.O.

If Tomlin is fired, which I wouldn't fault the Steelers for as he can't beat the Patriots(or even get to them in this year's scenario)and his teams are never buttoned up with their talking and social media nonsense, he probably becomes the next Gruden. He's great with the media. He can go do TV for a few years and either wait for BB to retire or take an NFC job down the road. I see no scenario where he becomes a DC

I don't see Bob Kraft even entertaining the possibility of that.

No, I mean wait for BB to retire before he takes over an AFC team. I'm kinda kidding. I'm sure he would take an AFC job, but he's not beating the Pats until BB is gone

There's nobody not named Harbaugh that's a better coach on the market than Tomlin. It would be stupid to fire him just like it would be stupid to fire Reid.

This. It’s not going to happen because there’s no one currently available to replace him who’s better

Tomlin's not an X's and O's guy, he' more of a CEO type.

I don't think he's a fit for a coordinator position.

Plus, teams like the Titans and Cardinals would line up to hire him.

The Colts, too.

Titans and Colts both want McDaniels for their young QB. Palmer just retired as well so I bet the Cardinals go with an offensive guy to groom the QB they draft as well
