And that's still an improvement over what we have. Which WR do you think is better than him other than Rice? Now put that WR on the Bears instead of the Chiefs with Mahomes throwing to him, how many yards do you think they'd have?

I want him but I also want a first or 2nd round WR added on top. Then let them battle it out for the WR spot opposite Rice. I don't think Mooney solves our WR issues but he'd help solidify them as long as we add to the position in the draft.

So I'm curious, what are you willing to pay him? What do you think he'll get?

It's JuJu all over again.

Kid thrived in his early years with solid to good QB play, and then when the QB and offense fell off, so did the production.

I think we have different definitions of thrive lol.

So I'll ask you too, what are you comfortable paying him?

Are you talking about Mooney? The best QB he's ever had in the NFL is Mitch Trubisky right before he got let go. I don't think he's ever had "solid" QB play

I’m in favor of a 1-year “prove-it” deal.

If he excels, we extend him during the season or let him get paid by someone else.

They aren't giving him $11-13 mil lol. Maybe "up to", but any deal is going to be one year and incentive heavy.
