Bills/ Bengals [cancelled - process in OP]

In case anyone needs it spelled out, we would play at a neutral site if the AFCCG ends up being Chiefs vs. Bills. All other scenarios abide by the usual rules (so any other game the Chiefs play will be at home).

Breaking News: Of course the game is secondary to #DamarHamlin’s health, but #Bills insider @viccarucci just reported on @wgrz Daybreak that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will make the call on rescheduling the Bills/Bengals game and it would have to be played within 2 days.

After speaking with both teams and NFLPA leadership, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell informed the clubs today that the Bills-Bengals game will not be resumed this week.

The NFL has made no decision regarding the possible resumption of the game at a later date.

Their stadium SUCKS though. I don't know how they managed it, but if you are sitting in the 2nd level, no matter how far up, you feel like you're watching the game from a blimp.

The stands all have a really severe angle that makes everyone, no matter where you sit, feel completely removed from the action.

Agreed and I think this point is being missed a lot. Burrow said that the Bengals had no interest in continuing that game either. Tee Higgins was so shook up that he spent the next 3 days in the hospital with Hamlin.

Heck, Cincy was up 22-0 at halftime of that Patriots game. They scored 0 points in 2nd half and survived by the skin of their teeth on the Patriots fumble. So you're correct that we'll never know how the rest of the Buffalo & Cincy game would play out.

That said, I think Cincy should be given a neutral site Playoff game with Buffalo. The coinflip thing for Cincy & Baltimore seems pretty horrible for Cincy as well. Perhaps these two issues will be resolved in the owner meeting today. I think Cincy has a lot to complain about, compared to everyone else involved.

Then why didn't they play? I get it if Damar had died or was in grave danger, not likely to survive, but based on the Dr.'s press conference yesterday, everything had bee done to a T that leads to positive recoveries in this situation and Damar was stabilized and recovering. The Bills watched a team mates life saved, not his death. They should have played Tuesday night, worse case Wednesday. They knew this, but they also knew the chance of loss was quite high with the injuries they had suffered.

Buffalo is the only other team who could have gotten to 14 wins.
