Why not Brandon Marshall.

If you want a no brainer slam dunk 1st round talent, who better than Marshall? It's not like we dont have the cap room to sign him to a deal Denver couldn't match. All we would have to do is out bid Seattle. Like the Ravens did us for Boldin.

Yeah the #5 is a high pick that you dont want to give to a division rival. But they are likely to get it from somewhere else.

At least we know we wouldn't be "missing" on our 1st rounder for a change. That would be nice. Not to mention, you would get an immediate return on investment instead of the developmental cyrve we would have to go through with a rook.

Just a thought.

Maybe if it was for something a bit lower then a first round pick they might, but for a guy who you can count on finding a way to get his ass suspended during the game you have to win to make the playoff's... eh.

I wouldn't trade our 1st round pick for him, but I'd definitely package Cassel and a pick for him.

Eh, what am I thinking? We have Chris Chambers. We're set at WR.
Ouch. That's some painful truth, Kimosabbe!

Didn't we just dump a guy last year that had a bad attitude coupled with a big contract? This has all the signs of an LJ equivalent at WR to me.

He never played for New England or drafted by Parcells. Therefore he's not apart of the right 53.

After seeing him play last year, you can understand why.

Trust me, I know that even mentioning trading Cassel is a ****ing dream scenario. Pioli won't admit his mistake.

Yes, Marshall has issues. From what I hear, this is one thing affecting Marshall in Denver that may not be an inssue in another city:

Marshall is uncomfortable in Denver. He, along with Darrent Williams, was the verbal confrontor of the gang members the night of the shooting murder of Williams. Since then the gang has murdered one witness. Marshall has been living uncomfortably in Denver ever since.

Three of his legal dust-ups occurred before the Willams shooting and a few have been on other states. Still a change of scenery may do him some good.
