Donald Penn holding out

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet
Uh oh: #Raiders standout LT Donald Penn is not reporting for training camp, source said. He's unhappy with his contract.

He had a broken finger and a broken leg WITH a decent LT...the only thing different this year is they play nine games against teams with 9 or more wins. No more beating bad teams in the last two minutes with the refs bailing them out...

At least Donald Penn can go to his fallback plan of being a male model.

First game of the year vs the Saints. Winning drive. We faced a 4th and 5 at the 18 yard line. Carr threw the ball well out of bounds towards Richard, game over, but refs called pi and kept us alive.

Our second win vs the Titans. They called Lewan for unnecessary roughness on the 3 yard line. They then still completed a pass into the end zone for the game tying score but they called Andre Johnson for a very questionable offensive pi, then on the Titans final attempt Carrie grabbed Harry Douglas in the end zone, but no call.

I think it was win #3 vs the Ravens that they could have won it with a FG at the end. They were one first down away from fg range and Joseph I think destroyed a receiver to end the game. As that happened live I thought for sure a flag would come in for unnecessary roughness. No flag.

Other games I can think of, PI against Tampa that gave the offense a 1st and allowed them to tie the game. Also, the many questionable calls against Houston.

We had 4th and 3 from the Bucs 5, Carr throws the ball out of the right corner of the end zone over Crabtree's head. Refs threw a holding call on Roberts who was on the opposite side of the field away from the play.

If you can count and do simple addition, which I doubt... that's 5 games decided by late questionable officiating. They were 7-9 the season before...add five more wins and voilą...you have a magical 12-4 record.

NO, he'd rather sign with another team as a TE.

I'm surprised the Raiders don't report him to his parole officer. I mean isn't that how they get all the guys to show up to camp?

That was the old Raiders. You know back when they dominated in the league. They have nothing but goodie goodies now. In fact they haven't had any real issue players besides Aldon Smith over the past few seasons and even he didn't play there long. So your perception is quite off.

The Raiders weren't the reason the Chiefs lost in the playoffs to the Steelers- The Chiefs lost because historically, they are never as talented as their opponents in the playoffs every 7 years it takes them to get there-

Funny Chief fan calls another team thugs, rapists and murderers when Tyrek Hill beats pregnant women and Vick spent time in prison, and Lamar Hunts son raped his own handicapped sister- in-law, and a Chief player murders his wife, then commits suicide at the Chiefs facility....

All these are Chiefs- none Raiders

This is a Chiefs message board of course we are going make fun of the Raiders.

We've blasted our own too but that's no fun.

What's your excuse for us winning in your house? Or perhaps us winning 5 in a row against you?

Clearly it's gimmicks and not a sustainable pattern for the Chiefs.
