Bills/ Bengals [cancelled - process in OP]

In case anyone needs it spelled out, we would play at a neutral site if the AFCCG ends up being Chiefs vs. Bills. All other scenarios abide by the usual rules (so any other game the Chiefs play will be at home).

That’s interesting considering the physicians at the hospital in Cinci said yesterday they were concerned about his brain and neurological health until he woke up (3 days after the game) and we’re able to communicate with them.z

I think this whole process is ridiculous and BS.

That being said, I hope the Chiefs look at it like it is what it is and we still have to go out and play a good game to reach our goals. Don't dwell on something that we can't control.

Nope. It opens the door to change rules again in mid-season because once you do it, it gets easier to do it again for lesser situations to appease fans, media, owners, players...

Where do you draw the line? Where do you say it is and isn't okay to toss the rulebook out?

I'd be willing to bet the league has protocols in place for emergency stoppage of play but didn't like the optics of their plan in this situation. They should have just come out and said, here is the plan the league has in place. After the season we will revisit this plan.

You should list out the posters that would have the 100% opposite view of the sanctity of that rule if the application of it cost the Bills a chance to lose into a tiebreaker that Chiefs were holding.
RULES trump feelings . . . . . . . . . . . ALWAYS!

I could care less whether it affects the Chiefs positively or negatively. The rules are established and in place for a reason.

If they want to re-evaluate them (like the OT rule, for instance) do it in the off-season when it is appropriate and take a vote on it.

Quit bitching about it in the moment.

exactly. it doesnt really hurt the chiefs "too bad". In fact I truly thought we were gonna get ****ed alot harder by the NFL. Thats not even why I am pissed. That other dipshit just is too dumb to get it.

Now Busch is a bit sterile and cookie cutter for my tastes, but the viewing angles are outstanding.

Either approach can work, but both can fail as well. And for whatever reason, I just didn't feel like TN pulled it off at all.
Hadn't ever looked at it, but...
Seems like the lower level is crazy flat.
And probably the 2nd level.. looking at the edge of the 2nd and 3rd level, the 2nd seems flatter.
Is there like zero overhang between levels? Looks like the middle section is twice as big as Arrowhead (several more rows), but there's zero overhang, and then on top of that, the upper level sits on top of suits.

I feel like Arrowhead's lower level is steeper, the middle section overhangs at least a little bit into the last few rows, and the upper level overhangs a decent amount... all making fans more on top of the action.

Seems like the first row of their upper deck would be like 10th+ row of Arrowhead, or maybe further.

I honestly think this was the right call. Someone almost died. They couldnt resume the game... You cant give an L to the team that almost lost someone on the field in front of everyone after a 60 -90 min delay on a night game not knowing if the guy is ok.

Game Cancelled. (Rule book - if game cannot continue after day 2, canceled)

Winning Percentage is determining Seeds and Bye Week. (by rule book)

Neutral Location in a game 3-4 weeks away based on how the canceled game might have ended I think disrupts everything the least amount AND doesn't change the schedule. (voted on due to being fair, after a unique circumstance). It also might not even be needed.

Move on.

Game Cancelled. (Rule book - if game cannot continue after day 2, canceled) <--this is questionable, they could have played a couple days later

so basically youre saying youre cool with changing the rules suddenly if "someone almost dies" and you dont feel they shouldve tried to replay the game a day or two later when that someone did not die?
