Yep. Veach really needs to be aggressive in the draft. Can't just settle on a pocket of WRs like what happened with Moore.

Toney I can see because he at the very least has special teams and gadget value, Moore doesn't even have that.

I don't think there's any way you keep both Toney and Moore.

Yeah, I’m fine with Watson.

Moore, Toney, and Ross are wasted roster spots.

I'd rather have Toney in that WR6 spot than Ross given that any cap space is a sunk cost on him.

But yeah, would still like to add another youngish veteran to go with a rookie. If we're going to get to rebuilding this WR room, I'd like to get some new blood in there outside of 1 year deals and a single draft pick.

Barring Watkins, I wouldn't have a problem with a 1st/2nd day pick and Luke McCaffrey on the 3rd day. I'm fine adding a couple new rookies to the squad if the board falls that way. If it doesn't, I'd still be fine bringing Hardman back instead of signing Watkins.

Mostly I just have zero use for Skyy Moore at this point. And I don't have much more use for Toney, but I still see actual NFL talent there and a stout enough cap hold that we might as well keep him if nobody knocks him off the roster.

Unless they can trade Toney, they're going to eat his $2.5MM he's owed in 2024. They can at least save $800K if they cut Skyy. I don't know if that's in their calc's or not, but it's something if we are that Cap tight.

I think you see how the draft goes, and maybe think about bringing Hardman back if you don't like how the draft fell in terms of WR.

Just wait for the price to drop for Q Watkins and get a fair deal. Take 2 WR’s in the draft. Ross, Skyy and Toney should be fighting for their jobs after last year

Where is the Quez Watkins talk coming from? I must have missed it. That would be a perfect signing.

He's got the Phins coming after him pretty hard now, so I'm not sure about the price dropping, unless the Dolphin interest is just being floated by his agent.

That shitty ML football or whatever. No solid rumors that I've seen.

That would be the best case for sure, but I don't think any teams would take the chance, after seeing him in action, along with with his off the field twitter crap. I have a bad feeling we're stuck with him for another year.

If you go back and review the season Watson played exactly what you would expect from the role he played. And Mahomes has enough confidence in him to keep throwing the ball to him.

He is what we need....a low cost 4th WR and a pretty good Special Teams player
