Offensive Tackles

I'm not going to overreact as it's only been 2 games but boy has their play has been meh at best. I'm not too worried about Taylor as I am Smith who looked like a declining player in Tampa. Everyone says it was because he was injured and maybe he still is but this has to get better if we're going to repeat as champs

Yeah he's a good egg. And yes, he's funny. Bengals fan who realizes how awesome chiefsplanet.com is compared to any other NFL team's message board.

I genuinely felt sorry for him after hearing the story about his child, but I still like telling him to 'eat **** pie, queer'. Probably my favorite non-Chiefs fan poster too.

Had this discussion before the season started about the Lions OL being ranked 5th. Not that we need anymore evidence of how clueless Mr. UnBelizable is.

Cincy beat us. Straight up. They went to a SB bowl. We got 'em back. That's a legit rivalry but Cincy got to talk their shit for a bit because they earned it.

But goddamn Bills. You guys and your Hamlin Pity Party (after you treated that guy the way we treated Sorensen all season) not to mention your 'win a real ring' shit when you've never won ANYTHING....

Yeah, this is an 'enemy of my enemy' thing - I hate the Bills more than the Bengals and Faulk's always been a good sport (and adapted well to the CP lingo/general vibe).

As far as rival fans go, especially a fan of the team that sent us home, we could do a LOT worse.
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

They conveniently forget about this. And nobody has the stones to call it what it is. He's a healthy scratch because he's not good, but they're not willing to eat the PR hit of cutting him. So they send him out to do PR for the team.

Man, **** them.

The Bills team is easier to root for than the cocksucking twat waffles on the Bengals team. But the Bengals fans piss me off less.

And **** all sports media. I just can't do it. Whatever they say is not of any consequence ever.

If they cut him, they'd have to repaint the ambulance.

That's just too much effort...

No to mention they're still stuck with a massive inventory of the "Love For Demar" T shirts. The only way they're recouping that sunk cost is if he dies on the field again.

I have the Bengals more and it's not close. Gobby team and rancid fair-weather fans. The Hamlin stuff was unfortunate but people forget the whining over the push penalty on Mahomes against the Bengals. Plus the Bengals are actually a threat.

So I think so far, the Smith signing has been a good one considering the money paid and the Taylor one.....leaves a little bit to be desired.

He needs to be really good going forward.

For the cost I'd strongly agree. At this point Taylor is not playing near that contract. TBH I'm not sure he's a top 5 RT or will be if he can't run block.
