Chris Lammons legal situation in Las Vegas will affect what the Chiefs do with him.

Allegedly, both Lammons and Kamara were involved in injuring an individual after he attempted to walk onto an elevator. Kamara placed his hand on the man’s chest before Lammons punched him. He was then pushed and stumbled before falling unconscious. After that, Lammons and Kamara allegedly hit and kicked the man causing a fracture to his right eye and marks on his head, knees, and arms. Dunno my guy. But I doubt Buechele makes it thru waivers. If the Chiefs have any thought that he is the future backs up for Mahomes they than prolly have to carry him on the 53.

If they have any thought he's the future backup, he's our backup and Henne is gone.

DL is a much higher priority given that all of those guys are going to get some rotational playing time.

Fair point and maybe that’s why he has been getting so many snaps instead of Henne. seeing if he can be serviceable.

Yeah, that's the question in my mind. But it's also possible that Andy knows that Henne doesn't need the work and he's trying to help Buechele.

However, it seems to me that Buechele is playing well enough for consideration as the #2. My only worry is whether his arm is too weak for the starters on NFL defenses. A weaker arm can survive against the #2 and #3 defenses, but can he get it done against starters?

And obviously we all hope that we never have to find out.

I kind of half-wonder if Buechele could be our #2 QB to start the season.

I'm in agreement. Let's face it, if we really need QB2 for more than a couple games/mop-up duty, we're screwed. That old mantra about "Andy always" doesn't apply here. PMII is a vet now and Henne doesn't need to be yapping in his ear, that's what Nagy is for. I think we could probably trade Henne for a 6th or 7th, if not the $3.6M isn't something we can't afford.

Good to know...wasn't quite as worried about updating PS/PUP/IR designations as the active roster (or at least my best guess as to how it will shake out)
