Bills/ Bengals [cancelled - process in OP]

In case anyone needs it spelled out, we would play at a neutral site if the AFCCG ends up being Chiefs vs. Bills. All other scenarios abide by the usual rules (so any other game the Chiefs play will be at home).

Breaking News: Of course the game is secondary to #DamarHamlin’s health, but #Bills insider @viccarucci just reported on @wgrz Daybreak that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will make the call on rescheduling the Bills/Bengals game and it would have to be played within 2 days.

After speaking with both teams and NFLPA leadership, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell informed the clubs today that the Bills-Bengals game will not be resumed this week.

The NFL has made no decision regarding the possible resumption of the game at a later date.

Yeah, and just having a process to begin with... the Bengals were apparently pissed because they were being nice and just wanted to be respectful, assuming the game would resume... NFL didn't give them firm answers and the Bills flew home that night (there's an article somewhere in this thread).

No idea if forfeit was even an option at that point or of the NFL just said it wouldn't be played (which I believe they said on Tuesday?).

It all falls on the NFL for not following it's own rules and apparently not having clear instructions for the teams that night (if nothing else, telling the Bills to not fly home ).... and maybe a tiny bit on the Bengals for not being assholes, but who knows.

Where you hear this at? I thought I saw an article stating that the Bengals voted No but the Chiefs and Bills both abstained.

The Bengals tried to whip up "no" votes from other owners but ultimately failed. According to sources, the Chiefs abstained from voting on the proposal while the Bills voted yes.

Why would the Bills even be included in such a vote when we knew they would vote neutral site. ALSO some in the media LIED then because I remember them getting sucked off for abstaining and reading how great they are for it
