I'm just glad to see a good number of people realize what Thigpen is, there was a time when it seemed that saying he wasn't the guy was the minority.

Thiggy, Thiggy, you're our man.
If you can't throw the 15-yard-out halfway up the stands and 30 feet beyond the endzone pylon, no one can.

No one underthrows the deep ball or throws the "sideline go" out of bounds quite like Thigpen.

In some ways I still think that we are the minority.

It's just that we've effectively chastised the True Fans into silent disagreement.

You know, I'll bet that if Thiggy had a really good QB coach and adequate time to work on his skills and shortcomings, he might develop into something. He has the mentality to be a good quarterback.

I'm going to use this moment to hijack this thread.

You think it's possible that Gailey stays on as assistant HC and quarterbacks coach?

Given the time frame and the fact that he's still here, it suggest Pioli at least has some respect for the guy, but I don't think Scott would "saddle" a HC with an OC. Too smart for that crap.

People thought that about every talented spead QB that a 1st round pick was spent on....history says spread QB's will fail at supremely high rate.

Possible, though I hope not.

The guy has 30+ years of coaching experience, none of them directly coaching QB's - even though he played the position in college.

Pass.

I really don't understand why this fan base thinks so well of Gailey...he was a failure in both his head coaching stints...

The Chiefs had a horrendously predictable offense where that was run run run or pass pass pass they never adjusted and got reamed in the 2nd halves of games.

Which is why it's baffling to me that people think next year's QB class is a good one, and that we should wait.

You have Jevan Snead and a bunch of spread monkeys, as you like to call them.

You know, I just thought of something. Clark Hunt has a lot of money so he could afford to buy or build a nightclub. Then, he could name it "The Clark Bar".
