Maybe I've missed it, but I haven't seen anyone claim that Sanchez is better than Cassel.

I've seen people claim that Sanchez has more upside than Cassel, and that Sanchez would have been a better long term option than Cassel.

We knew we were going to have to wait for either QB to be productive. But as I see it, I would rather wait to get my delivery of a brand new Ferrari then a 3 yr old Ford Focus. Now once we get the Focus we are going to have to wait even longer to get our Ferrari.

Has nothing to do with that.

The Chiefs are my team, but I'm a football fan. I, gasp, like to follow players outside of KC.

Wow. I am being completely honest when I say this. I was at that game Sunday and during the pregame they had local Pass, Punt, and Kick participants showing their stuff. Some of the older kids threw the ball just as far as Matt did on that play.

He couldn't decide which to throw to so he decided to throw in the middle of both and see which one wanted it more. Obviously that was a failure on the recievers part.

OK. So the reason you're following Sanchez, Flacco, and Rodgers specifically is because you're a football fan; and not because KC had a chance to pick up those players?

Because I'm pretty sure you just stated this.

Me.

I will always track the trajectory of his career, much like I have with Rodgers and Flacco.

Just as I will when we overlook (obviously) talented signal callers in future draft classes.

I mean, you could just as easily track the careers of Rivers, Eli Manning, Ryan, or Stafford...because they all look to be legit QB's and are an important part of the NFL...but the Chiefs didn't really have a shot at any of those guys, so that might take the fun out of it.

The team is awful including Matt. He sucks, he's not even one of the few good players on the team. I couldn't care less about ****ing Sanchez, never wanted him, glad we dont have him to be honest.

Well then, with that in mind. Pioli should do the right thing, for his former employer, and trade Cassel even up for Brady.

Agreed. Hell, we'll even be kind enough to trade Wade for Moss straight-up.

Hell, it was declining since 2007. It was easy last year to blame their 11-5 record on Cassel and overlook that their defense was just not as good as it was in 2007, and it has continued this year.

Just further proof that a QB is not the only difference between winning and losing, but he's the easiest guy to blame or give credit to...

This. I fully anticipate Cassel being dog food by the end of 2010, assuming his bones and wicked-sweet noodle arm can last that long.
Yep, sometimes you just gotta' pick the new neighbors dog shit up off your lawn, shake your fist at that worthless east coast transplanted n00b, and move the **** on.
