Oil rig blew up. Pipe is broke of 1 mile at the bottom of the ocean. It's a 22" pipe.

The dumbasses tried putting a concrete cap over it. Dumb !

They tried pumping a bunch of chopped up golf balls and junk in to the pipe. Even dumber !

And now they have stuck a pipe inside it with corking around it. Nope !

They need to give the Hog Farmer plan a go and stop the ****ing oil!

Okay.... My thinking is.... there's a device called a "Drain King" that can be used to unstop a plugged drain line. The principle is , it's a heavy duty rubber bladder that you connect to a garden hose that when you turn it on it in flates to seal off the pipe and push pressure through the outlet to blow out a stopage. the same principle can be used here using a submersible pump connected to a steel pipe connectected to a heavy duty rubber bladder that will inflate inside the pipe to seal it off. Then once the flow is cut off they can cap it.

What do you think ??????



They haven't tried this so far but they are now cutting open the pipe to allow for a cap to be put on that will have a hard time sealing so I think they need to try my proposition instead.
