Reaction to Marcus smart shoving a fan

Just curious... If the fan called Smart a racial slur, was he justified for shoving the fan.

I think its an interesting debate about where the line should be drawn for fans to get away with jawing at players. Let's first see if there's any truth to this. My personal opinion is that sports should have leeway for fan behavior, but there's a line that fans too often cross.

The idea of booing or heckling a college player is pretty weak. Different strokes for different folks I guess. I think booing pros is perfectly fine though, I've done it plenty at Royals and Chiefs games.


One time I heckled Darrin Erstad of the Angels in a late season game as he warmed up on the batters box. He was having a terrible year. He looked at me and said "How much did you make this year?' What a buffoon turd.
