Then you have Hill set to get $20M per, Jones around $20M per, Mathieu already at $14M, and Mahomes probably $35M per or more...

There's a reason veach has structured the majority of our contracts to be easy to back out of by 2020 and 2021. There is a looooottttt of money we can trim as needed without taking much dead weight. If we draft well, we can slowly chip away at opening a lot of that cap. That includes honey Badger.

Chiefs have stated they would like to extend Hill and possibly Jones, THIS year so the cap we have isnt all for some huge FA signing nor should it be. We cant have well over half the salary cap tied up in 5 players.
