Mahomes to undergo surgery - Rapoport

Source: #Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes will undergo surgery tomorrow to repair a torn plantar plate in his foot, also known as turf toe. The rehab will be several months, but he’s expected to make a full recovery. Noted foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson will perform the procedure.

Mahomes just landed here in Green Bay to have his surgery tomorrow.

I feel amazing just knowing I am currently in the same city as him.

Turf toe is no joke.

Foot injuries have ruined many careers.

iirc Turf Toe ended Deon Sanders' career.

Yea at the end of his career.

Mahomes is 25, it’s not 25+ years ago, and he plays QB not corner.

I can’t believe you idiots think turf toe might ruin Pat’s career.

Actually, I can believe you do, but not the others.

He had a more severe turf toe injury.

Pat ran 500 yards and wasn’t limping.

Watkins: I 'd love to be a Chief. Winning Championships is worth more to me than $$$

Veach: **** OFF BROKE DICK. Vet MIN or hit the road!

Watkins: WTF?

Veach: THAT'S THE F**K!

Veach: Chiefs Kingdom, We tried, but were unable to work something out with Sammy Watkins. Both parties mutually agreed to part ways. We are thankful for Sammy's contributions to the team, and wish him well in the future.
