Alex played the game of his life and he was BETRAYED by the defense

Alex Smith dropped 44 points on the Colts and somehow still lost. Alex is a hero. 44 points can win you a SUPERBOWL. What happened to the best defense in the league? They sure weren't out there tonight. You could cut all of them and it wouldn't matter. What matters is having Alex.

2- Smith fumble
3- Bowe drop that killed this drive (who knows how that drive turns out)

5-6 play 40 yard drive eat almost 3 mins up

7- Bowe ran his RT to close to the sideline

Chiefs TOP in 2nd half 17:22

The O did enough to win that game in 2nd half.

Well there is disagreement well documented on here about those plays.

If AS had not thrown that ball so far towards the OB, like he has shown a clear tendency to do all season, erring to the safe side, maybe Bowe wouldn't have stepped out?

Granted, Bowe should have saved it by going limp and dragging his foot, but a true FQB, wouldn't have left that to chance of the WR having to make a spectacular play when it is the last play you are guaranteed to get.

It works both ways, if Alex had a dynamic first half then Bowe had no difference in that outcome.
