Lakers will win the world champioship again.
Anyone wanna bet on another team?

I have to say that the Lakers having won 10 straight seem to be better than any of the last championship teams. Not only that but they are relaxed and having fun like none of the other teams ever have. It's weird watching Kobe joking with Shaq and Carl and Payton. The confidence is just oozing out of their pours. It's like they already know they have won it all. The D is playing great. Offensive boards are off the scale. This team has just beginning to gel and they are already unbeatable IMO. The only thing that can stop them now is a major injury or two.

Not me, the Lakers are shit this year and I will be the first to agree that Kobe single handedly has caused it. If they really could not get Kobe and Shaq to reconcile then I understand keeping Kobe for the longer term career, but Mitch did a horrid job on all the trades. He ain't no Jerry West. They were trying to make it happen this season but I think Phil wanted to let the chips fall where they may and not try picking up the pieces just yet. They will certainly make a serious run at him IMO, I think that's why they didn't go out and get a new coach to replace Rudy this year. Yes the Kobe/Phil thing needs to gell but say about Kobe what you will he doesn't like losing either. With Phil comes the ability to pick up many players you might not have as well. Lakers have a lot of fat they can cut off this squad, they need to.
