Anyone wanna bet on another team?

I have to say that the Lakers having won 10 straight seem to be better than any of the last championship teams. Not only that but they are relaxed and having fun like none of the other teams ever have. It's weird watching Kobe joking with Shaq and Carl and Payton. The confidence is just oozing out of their pours. It's like they already know they have won it all. The D is playing great. Offensive boards are off the scale. This team has just beginning to gel and they are already unbeatable IMO. The only thing that can stop them now is a major injury or two.

As if the Lakers never imported a championship or three. Hell, far more of the Celtics' championships (that would be just about all of them) were done with home grown talent as opposed to the Lakers (Wilt, Kareem, Shaq).

Just thank your stars that McHale broke his foot in '87, and that the C's have sucked for 20 years.

It's Bynum dude not Bynam. With what they have assembled in Boston it would be a complete failure to come up short of a championship. The Lakers are going to be good for a very long time, or so it appears. This team with Bynum being out and Gasol new to the team has had no chance to get the chemistry down either. Bottom line is I am pretty excited about what is going on in LA with the Lakers.

Gasol makes the Lakers a dangerous team. I have to put my $ on whoever wins between Detroit & Boston to take it all but I wouldn't count LA or SA out.
The Hornets might do something in the playoffs, should be fun to watch.
