Kiper's mock -- 1-16

I'm not wild over Sanchez, but Kiper probably knows more than I do. IMO, you take BPA in the top 5, if not top 10. I think DE is our biggest need, but that would be a huge reach at #3 overall, and can probably be addressed in Rd 2.

1.Detroit Matthew Stafford QB Georgia
2 St. Louis Andre Smith OT Alabama
3 Kansas City Mark Sanchez QB USC
4 Seattle Michael Crabtree WR Texas Tech
5 Cleveland Aaron Curry LB Wake Forest
6 Cincinnati Jason Smith OT Baylor
7 Oakland Jeremy Maclin WR Missouri
8 Jacksonville Eugene Monroe OT Virginia
9 Green Bay Malcolm Jenkins CB Ohio St.
10 San Francisco Aaron Maybin DE/OLB Penn St.
11 Buffalo Brandon Pettigrew TE Oklahoma St.
12 Denver B.J. Raji DT Boston College
13 Washington Brian Orakpo DE Texas
14 New Orleans Vontae Davis CB Illinois
15 Houston Everette Brown DE Florida St.
16 San Diego Knowshon Moreno RB Georgia

You just copied and pasted the free agent list.

If you're going to state that the Chiefs can upgrade, you have to give specific examples.

Otherwise, it's just BS.

There is 4 guys on that list worth going after - Barnes, Evans, Brown and Carey. Gross would but you would have to pay LT money for a RT which is stupid. Evans is a RFA so scratch him off. Which leaves Barnes, Brown, and Carey.

The way it was setup at SC was for most of the defense to leave and be young next year while the offense returning all but 1 starter who wasn't a huge deal anyway in Patrick Turner would carry the team..

With Sanchez leaving that all changes because now you have to break in another QB and frankly Barkley isn't going to play and the other 2 guys weren't great shakes heading into this past season...

Sanchez is without a doubt a top 10 pick, Carroll has told players to leave sure he had a player to replace them, Sanchez declaring for himself which is what he did, he made the best decision for his own personal interest. Carroll is upset because even as a SC fan I know this Mark Sanchez is basically the difference in USC maybe being national champion next year and having the first season without 11 wins in 8 years....

I don't think Parcells lets Carey go anywhere.

Brown may be the only guy and he's a right guard.

Barnes is shit. I would really hate the to see the Chief convert another left tackle over to the right side.

Just ****ing draft a right tackle in the 2nd, 3rd or 4th and be done.

Kiper is a tool! Rumor out of Detroit is They are going to pass on Stafford and go ol/dl.
This throws everything up in the air. I wouldn't be suprised if they went rb in the 1st.

I'm new here whats this casino cash thing?

There are several players on that list who are better than what the Chiefs have.

FYP

I'm fine with Sanchez if Pioli likes him, but they need a better offensive line.

Seems to me if you think Carroll was right, then taking Sanchez with a number 3 overall pick should seem like a bad thing to do, no matter how he performed at the combine.

Well, as I asked you earlier, please tell me which players you'd sign.

Don't give me this "there's much better players" BS.

Man up.

Scout.com has Brown listed at center. If he can play center....then sign him as our #1 FA and move Niswanger to RG. Grab a RT in the 3rd or 4th round and our O-line isn't THAT bad anymore.

I say #1 FA because I'd love to have Suggs here but I don't think the Ravens will be letting him leave.

Gross, Carey, Stinchcomb, Starks, Colon, Kemoeatu, Evans, Procter, Dahl, Brown, Cole and Wilkerson are guys I'd look at. I don't think you can come after me like you're an expert about this. Nobody knows what Pioli will do, but you can't say they don't have options in free agency.

That's the only cinch pick I see in the entire draft. I have no clue who else will go where, but I'm nearly certain that Seattle will take Crabtree if he's there.

I think I'd actually take him at 3rd, but nobody asked me.

I'd gladly take Jason Brown and Khalif Barnes.
Move Niswanger back to Right Guard.

New Center, Right Guard, and Right Tackle.
