Mike Tomlin

Rumors out of Pittsburgh are that some of their board members will be lobbying for a coaching change

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...aching-change/

Would you be open to Tomlin as our DC if that happens?

Tomlin as a DC? You crazy? Dude would get head coaching offers literally the second Pittsburgh let him go.

There's nobody not named Harbaugh that's a better coach on the market than Tomlin. It would be stupid to fire him just like it would be stupid to fire Reid.

This. It’s not going to happen because there’s no one currently available to replace him who’s better

Wrong. He went back to the SB in 2010 and lost to Aaron Rodgers. He also lost to the eventual SB winners in 2015 in the Donkos. He lost in 2016 to the eventual SB winners in the Patriots.
He must be a horrible coach to have ONLY gone to the playoffs 7 of his 10 years there while winning a SB and competing in a second one. Oh and I am sure that Cowher is the one that put all of those people on that roster and they are all still there 10 years later.

I don't like Tomlin either but at least be real about his accomplishments and ability.

You're giving too much credit to Tomlin for good players making great plays.

I won't pick through point by point as I don't feel like typing that dang much, but I will say I think you're giving Tomlin credit for things may have witnessed, but certainly did not accomplish. You think he actively accomplishes things, while I think he just sits there and is lucky enough for them to happen by insane plays and pure player skill.
