Sorry but that doesn't compute for me. Just a year ago we would fight anyone who dared put burrow or Lamar in the same league as him. The Patriots were mentioned earlier and y'know what, even at Brady's worst they'd fight anyone who wouldn't say Brady is wicked awesome.

It's not to say mahomes doesn't deserve criticism. But y'know what, we were told to never ever question veach because he never misses. I don't know why we're supposed to just accept how casually we are scapegoating mahomes. No it isn't trolling. The same way it bothers you that people don't appreciate this teams greatness, it bothers me that people would question mahomes' greatness. Because that's us. The rest of the world is asking why he doesn't have WRs. We’re the ones who act like mahomes has what he needs and he’s not delivering.
I guess that's a no.

There is literally a thread right now eagerly scooping up examples of mahomes ****ing up. And people for weeks have been hunting down screen caps like mistake porn. There is certainly a widespread narrative that WRs are open frequently and mahomes is flat out missing them. That Reid is not utilizing them.

That is not hyperbole. It is not one person. I know you’re a reasonable guy and surely you find that eagerness to cut down mahomes odd. Even if you don’t agree with my other shit which is fine

I resigned to never seen my Chiefs in the Super Bowl let alone watching them win two. Can't complain.

Zilla has been absolutely insufferable on a level that I don't think I've seen from any poster in my time on CP.

It would have been so much easier and it would have made more sense to just say "**** you Bearcat, and your advice sucks!" Instead we get entire paragraphs of whatabouts and hyperbole.

I’ve got a lot of respect for bearcat. I’m not gonna tell him to **** off and I take his criticism from him to heart. If he thinks I’ve been too critical fine. He wants to be supportive of this team and all I’m saying is be on the lookout for how people are badmouthing our qb and nagy and to some extent Reid.

Can someone explain what a stunt is and why our offensive line is struggling with it?

They disrupt the timing and responsibilities of the O-Line, especially zone plays and RPOs.

Basically, the ER or the DT are taking a hard path while the other is looping but there are a variety of stunts that look somewhat similar but aren't exactly the same. An Exit stunt will usually see the end take an outside jab and then drive hard inside straight to the guard's hip while the DT then takes a shorter path to the QB coming around behind him to the outside. A Spear will see the ER take a hard drive straight through the tackle with the DT looping outside, which is wider than Exit but the same general philosophy. A Veer stunt, the ER usually shoots the G/T gap with the DT looping. A Tex, usually, is a hard outside drive by the DT with the ER looping inside. Etc... They all basically do the same thing just different drive angles with loop flips.

If a team runs, the ER crashing hard inside like that will disrupt the play and force it outside where the DT and LB will be waiting. If it's the pass, the tackle has to maintain his outside responsibility or the DT will get easy pressure. If the Guard doesn't anchor against the crash against the ER, that's an easy sack.

I guess that's quick and dirty. Communication and recognition by the O-Line is paramount.

If we can improve the offense even just a bit I wouldn’t be shocked at another SB win. That is if D keeps up their amazing work.
