This guy is a former NASA scientist who is a true "mad scientist" with a brilliant way to punish porch pirates and reward people who do the right thing. 18 minutes, but very entertaining. I ended up on a list and get called by these idiots ALL the time.

I’ve learned some insults in their native tongue. If I’m driving or bored I’ll waste as much of their time as possible. I enjoy making them approach a stroke being angry with me for wasting their time.

When I first saw that video, my thought was, "That's cool and all, but these little pranks aren't really doing to make any difference." And to some extent that's true. But it's really pretty impressive that they managed to disrupt a ton of those operations if only for a few days.

Hopefully their work can at least raise awareness of the issue and maybe put some pressure on the local authorities to actually do something about it. I certainly don't know what else random citizens from across the world could have hoped to accomplish short of actually crossing the line into actual (illegal) harm.

My thoughts as well... just being able to say those ****ers scam up to $65k/day and 3 of them were shut down for a few days each is pretty cool. Sure, if they shut down one, another will just pop up elsewhere... it's most likely an infinite game of winning some small battles to slow down the stream of money.
