What should Veach accomplish this offseason?

Obviously we will try to keep OBJ and Ingram. Clark and Hitchens are probably gone.
I want Matheiu gone but I’m not sure Spags will let Veach do that. That will be interesting.

I think our #1 need has to be another receiving weapon. Mahomes went through slumps and a big part of that was the shit from Robinson and Pringle. They just aren’t good enough when Kelce and Reek are double covered.

We need to start a youth movement at DL, secondary and WR. Kelce, Jones, Ingram and Matheiu (whether he stays or goes) are starting to get old.

Basically WR, pass rush and secondary. I want Veach to attack those areas hard.

What do you think?

2. Cut Anthony Hitchens (or is it Bitchin'?). Chiefs save $4,217,426.

3. Absolutely refrain from resigning the following players (meaning, under no circumstances they should be resigned): Ben Niemann (UFA), DeMarcus Robinson (UFA), Andrew Wylie (UFA), and Dan Sorensen (UFA). They all need to hit the road.

4. Refrain from signing Tyrann Matheau if the money is too obscene. Really shouldn't be in the business of signing defensive backs on the wrong side of their 30's (there are a few exceptions, I get that).

5. As much as I hate doing this, they will likely have to resign Orlando. Teams don't give up multiple draft picks for a one-year rental. I still do not see him an elite LT, but it is what it is.

6. Do recommend resigning the following players: Charvarius Ward, Derrick Nnadi, Jerick McKinnon, and James Winchester.

That's all I can think of off top of my head.
Most if not all of these moves will happen.

I’m not drafting a WR early. I’m signing one that can step in.

Draft a DE and S early and then bring in a couple things of FAs.

I don’t get this “leadership” thing losing Matheiu.

Ingram is a damn good leader. Keep him. You’ve also got a damn good leader in Bolton.

Apparently, our secondary are athletic but completely nonfunctional above the brainstem.

They need a traffic cop at safety like a Chinese fire brigade needs a whistle.

We have a top 5 pick to spend on a WR like Chase?

What should Veach accomplish this offseason?

Fix the defense.

Cut Clark, Hitchens, Mathieu
Resign Melvin Ingram, Ward
Get a FA DE
Draft a safety in the 1st round.

Draft a WR, RT & RB for the offense.

I really don't want Doodoo Shit-Poopster, though. I think he wilts under pressure just like Robinson and the other backups that were out there today.

Hell, I'd rather bring back Sammy. And I really don't want that.

Can we franchise tag HB? Safety money on the tag isn’t that high? I think I read $10M. Who else could possibly get the tag? I think we sign Orlando brown to a long term deal?

The pundits on GMFB said it was $16M this year for a Franchise tag on Safety.

Not sure if possible but Calvin Ridley or Chris Godwin would be Awesome! I dont see either of these guys returning to their current teams.

Both have issues that may make them affordable?

OBJ is amazing if he's happy.

I think he would like it here.

Godwin also would be perfect opposite Hill.

This offense has had too many lulls...it wasn't just 2nd half today. Lack of a real #2 makes us possible to defend.

We add another star WR and that's checkmate again. No scheme will work against us.
