IronMan Fever!!!

I have a bunch of friends who have called and want to go see IronMan. Plus, the beautiful and witty Mrs. FAX wants to see it, as well. Unfortunately, the calls kept coming in and they all want to go at different times. I'm willing to see the movie ... maybe 3 times, but not 6 or 7 in the same weekend. Therefore, a quandry results. How do I decide who to go see IronMan with and who I regrettably turn down? At this point, I've said "yes" to everybody.

Any advice?

Thanks in advance for your assistance with this matter and Go IronMan!!!

Yep, that does seem like a problem.

I grew up watching Speed Racer, and I have no interest in the movie whatsoever.

Same here. I loved the toon, but the movie looks like "Spy Kids" or "Thunderbirds" (another childhood love that they absolutely destroyed on screen).

And the very end of the credits is WELL WORTH THE WAIT! I was applauding in the theater.

just got back from seeing it w/my 11 & 14 yr olds--enjoyed by all--highly recommend! loved the hologram(s), and the "we throw in one of these with each 500 million order", lol. Downey was droll in the beginning, almost to a fault, but the SE more than made up for any shortcomings!

I have to say, though, that John Goodman (rip) as Pops is inspired.

Beyond that, I have no interest.

I might watch it when it hits network programming.

It is a digital projection of the movie. Instead of using film reels, I believe the movie is on a hard drive of some sort. I saw it digital, actually DLP. Its the goods. The movie cut off right at the very end when the credits started and the guy just rewound it like it was a video file.

That's not cool at all. I don't know why he would have done that because it never needs rewinding. You missed the stuff at the end of the credits too.

Digital is sweet, let me tell you. However, it's got is fair share of problems. Power outages right now are it's number one nemisis. And by power outages I don't mean wide spread but just like little blips of on-off-on-off power stoppages it starts itself over.

Like watching it in high definition in some sorts...it had a real clean look to the movie as well, supposedly they are higher resolution. There were only 3 showings at the theater we went to and it was the biggest screen.
