I really should leave someone like Rainman to do this thread. I'll probably approach it completely the wrong way. But eff it. I'll do it anyway.

Give your percent satisfaction with what Todd can do. There is no, "Yes, he's good but ______." If there's a stipulation, it gets factored in as a positive or negative result.

Factor everything in. The kind of job he's doing now, the kind of job you think he'll do, the kind of job he'll do when/if he's a head coach next season, etc. Pick a number.

You can't look like a "real NFL team" without real NFL talent.

The coaching staff needs to find ANY way they can to score enough points to win and a pro-style offense isn't working.

Wasn't this a knock against Cassel last season? That the only way he could hit guys downfield was by putting him in the shotgun with 4 WR sets so he could survey the field easier? Kind of like Thigpen but with far better precision?

I didn't vote. It's much too early to tell.

But, today as I watched the game, the question came to mind ... is the team/players being coached very well? It seemed the Giants, Jets, Saints, & Donks (I hate to say it but, yes, even Denver) were much better coached. (BTW, Dallas lost the game because of coaching and poor QB play.) I mean schemes, knowing what/how to do, executing the plays ... just the over all coaching.

Yeah, it's probably talent, but even the best talent does not perform well if there is poor coaching.

So, the question is ... does Haley spend too much time on weight loss, discipline, being a hard a_ _ ... doing it his way and not enough time teaching/coaching? Maybe it just takes time to develop a team chemistry?

But, it seemed to be that the better coached teams won today!!!

Yep.

But I'd rather see Cassel and the Chiefs move the ball and score multiple times a game versus getting blown out with no chance to win.

Just watched Haley's post game presser. He's getting that deer-in-the-headlights look. Tired and defeated. I've seen it before. Herm had it near the end.

The guy looks to be exhausted and ready to kick the dog, if he hasn't already.
