They could change it to the Kings (or similar), make the arrowhead a crown, and keep everything else the same (colors, etc.).

Or keep it the Chiefs and ask people to kindly STFD and .

I couldn't care less, but I'm to the point in my life where I don't concern myself with shit I can't control so your mileage may vary, offer not valid in all areas, etc. etc. etc.

This...I would hate to see a name change...but wonder if just removing this copycat motion stolen from FSU and the Braves would calm things down a bit.
