Wentz has got to be better than what they have now. Last I saw Ryan he was throwing the ball shirt into the ground. Just to many hits on that guy.

Not sitting at 0-3 without a QB or a defense.

Trading your QB and giving up after an 0-3 start is a damn good plan to lose your locker room and not get FA's to consider your organization again.

I look at the Vikings and I realize they are what the 2018-2019 Chiefs would've been without Mahomes.

Then I shudder violently.

I mean think about it - for about 5 years the Chiefs got by with a solid but unspectacular QB who took care of the ball and had finally gotten a premier WR threat to take them up a level behind a really good defense. Suddenly they seemed great and maybe ready to take the next step but that limited QB was still just good enough to get them beat in the playoffs.

Worse - that defense was ever so slowly aging and starting to show serious cracks.

Fortunately we had Mahomes to take over just as the wheels came off the defense and the rest is history. But if we DIDN'T have him, the 2023 Vikings are the 2018 Chiefs. They are the ghost of Christmas Future that Reid/Veach/Dorsey/Clark must've been shown going into that draft...

The moment people think the Vikings would ever consider trading their QB in week three is the moment the whole tanking narrative has gone way too far... this isn't Madden, FFS.

Hell, they play two other 0-3 teams the next two weeks, every loss has been by one possession, and they've played two of their tougher opponents.

Put down the fan fiction.

There's a difference between what they will do and what they should do.

Also, nobody is even saying the can't climb out of that 0-3 hole. Of course they can, but they still aren't winning a SB.

Yeah NY doesn't really have any good options, they'd probably have to overpay to the point they'd set themselves back 10 years for Cousins

They're at the point where they need to convince a Rivers to come out of retirement, or grab Ryan/Wentz type retreads... and none of those are gonna set the team or fanbase on fire anyway

Their prospects are GRIM

yep. The OL is the real issue, not who's playing QB. If that OL doesn't start playing a lot better, it really doesn't matter who's back there, they're going to lose more games than they win.

It's a helluva staring match.
Or as the losses mount the Jets decide to stand pat and draft one themselves.

They’re insane if they make that move with all the qbs in the AFC.

Brissett is a very underrated QB. Too smart of a move for the Jets to make.
