I'm not sure how Carroll would know that his parents took money illegally from an agent and rented/bought a home (can't remember specifics).

I understand that it happened under his watch but it's impossible for a coach or coaching staff to keep tabs on a 100+ kids each year, let alone these kid's parents. What I never understood was why the onus wasn't on Bush more than it was at the time.

It was certainly nothing like the Penn State case, which resulted in less penalties but was an egregiously horrific crime in which Paterno was patently aware of but blatanly ignored.

I thought the biggest infraction was the house thing but can't remember the specifics.

But with all due respect, Pete ran a clean program in NY, NE, SF as a defensive coordinator and now in Seattle. IMO, that exonerates him from any improprieties that he was accused of at USC.

You simply can not lead the receiver in that situation.

That throw has to be into the receiver's hip, allowing only the receiver the opportunity to make a catch.
