Anyone wanna bet on another team?

I have to say that the Lakers having won 10 straight seem to be better than any of the last championship teams. Not only that but they are relaxed and having fun like none of the other teams ever have. It's weird watching Kobe joking with Shaq and Carl and Payton. The confidence is just oozing out of their pours. It's like they already know they have won it all. The D is playing great. Offensive boards are off the scale. This team has just beginning to gel and they are already unbeatable IMO. The only thing that can stop them now is a major injury or two.

I am just saying, don't get too happy, the Lakers didn't do much better. The Lakers team with Kareem and Magic on it would have won that game by 50 or more. JMHO

BTW, where is the Sharks thread? I was right about the Flames eh? They are oppoortunistic and a bit lucky, but they have all the heart it will take to upset the Sharks.

I hope the Sharks prevail, but I am worried that the Flames will best them.

First on the shooting. If you thought that was poor you should have seen the Last Timberpups/Queens game. I believe they combined for 5/23 to start the game. Missed layups and 5 footers all over the place. They looked terrible.

Sharks game was awesome, sure wish we would have won that one. What's with our inability to get it done in OT?

Nice comeback win after being down 2-0.......... getting back to 2-2 is doable.

Funnyt you should say that. I live in Queens country and I love calling them that. I was at costco yesterday after the Lakers win and the Sharks loss giving details to the guy checking me out. He goes "I hate the Fakers" and I responded with a "ah you must be a Queens fan" which always gets you the dirty look. I should print up a bunch of pictures of Horry hitting the game winning 3 against them and hand them out to all the Queens fans when they start acting smart.

Last 18 years. Too long. One of these days I am looking forward to getting out of here. If we get big enough some day I may consider opening an office in Austin. I am sick of paying all these taxes.

This begs a final question if you please. What line of work are you in. Sounds like you are some sort of finacial advisor, or stock broker or something?
