Does Kevin Kietzman deserve to be fired/forced to resign?

I'm not 100% on the KK news from today. But figured we'd start a thread to discuss this topic.

Sound off below. Also feel free to add in the KK tweets and such in here.

Thanks!

Except when that "shock" mentality filters over to places like KCTV5...and being unethical is deemed an acceptable practice.

People like him have influence whether you want to admit it or not...and it's all entertainment until it isn't...and star players start getting suspended due to "optics" based on rumor.

Most of the country still think Hill broke his kids arm and want him banned from the NFL...I wonder where they get this idea?

I really didn’t care whether the guy was fired or not, I just think it’s odd that so many are defending him or act like he was wrongfully fired when he’s clearly a moron and a POS that has attacked Mahomes, Reid, and Hill. He’s not even good at his job.

Why the **** would any Chiefs fan care that this guy was fired?

From a strictly business standpoint...why would CHunt and the Chiefs want to partner with an organization that is actively undermining them? Spreading lies and negative rumors about their product?

There is nothing wrong with objective criticism...but when it veers off into damaging people who work for them...and dragging their personal lives through the mud?

Kietzman was a parasite...he was making money off the success of the Chiefs and being allowed access. He just found out how unimportant he is...

Ok. I don't really have any problem with the Chiefs or Andy Reid being upset and trying to get him fired. I don't have a problem with 810 deciding to fire him for business reasons. My problem is with the mob of people who have no stake other than as a listeners (and in many cases, don't even have that stake), trying to decide for everyone else what we should be able to hear on the radio instead of just managing their own listening choices.

You're right. But Kietzman is the sacrificial lamb for the entire media. What they attempted was far more disturbing.

That's life. Don't **** with the Chiefs.

^^^ this man is correct. The Chiefs have been SO ON soft on the media for decades. They are well within their rights to take this entire episode, wad it up in a big old piece of paper, and cram it right up their adversaries arseholes.

I told you I knew a gal.....
I’m guessing she’d probably be breaking a NDA if there was a settlement. I’d be shocked if that wasn’t included.

Had anyone turned the dial anyway? Seriously? I bet their ratings bumped up a bit after the controversy. But that's irrelevant since my post was about you and the rest of us at CP and on social media, not about what business decisions 810 should make or how Andy Reid should respond to the disparagement of his parenting style. You're not going to tell me that your primary concern here is whether or not 810 makes a profit, are you?
Actually that was my first post in any of these threads and I don't do social media, so I'm not sure how your post could have been about me. You were protesting against "mob justice" for a person whose entire career seems to have been about inciting it. Just seemed such an odd dichotomy that I misunderstood your motivation. My primary concern is that I don't give a shit what either side does. More interested in the fluidity with which people seem to adjust their moral boundaries so as to judge the actions of others.

I see. For the purpose of my posts in this thread, I consider CP social media. It's just a less efficient form (less reach) than the facebooks and twitters.

I hope you're just explaining your primary concern and not suggesting fluidity on my part.
