Probably the best true 4-3 DE in the game. Kid's an absolute monster and among the first few guys in the league I'd look to build a defense around.

Probably not.
But when all is said and done, many great players don't. Might as well get rich now and consider ring chasing in 5-6 years. There's no room at the inn here in KC for at least 3-4 seasons (when Clark ages out) so we'll gladly offer him a nice landing spot then. Mahomes will need some veteran leadership around by then to break in a new crew for his next wave of titles by about 2024 so things should dovetail nicely.
