ESPNs story on this today leaves out the part where he didn’t know he was being recorded which is huge. Are they incompetent or manipulative or both? Media does suck.

Absolutely. No question on this. If asked to leave and they flat out refuse they are getting physically thrown out. In what insane world is that not ok? Do you honestly want to live in a world where you rely on a politically controlled, understaffed third party to come escort the unwilling from your home?

Seriously think on that. It's ridiculous.

I hope Hill is innocent in the current situation, and it appears he may very well be.

However, I hope the incident in 2014 is as bad as Espinal claims, because that bitch deserves to be choked and punched. I don't give a **** if she's pregnant or not. Getting knocked up doesn't give you the right to be ****ing psycho bitch. Hill already paid the price for that either way.

And if you call the popo who takes 2 hours to arrive, are you supposed to just play scrabble with the intruder to pass the time? Or do the stare-down thing?

This makes no sense. If an unwanted guest is in your home, it's a stupid ass damn law that disallows your right to throw that bitch to the curb.

I'm not exactly sure of the exact wording of Missouri's "Castle" law (Your home is your castle and you are allowed to use whatever force is necessary to protect yourself in your home) but I guess according to Sauto I'd end up in jail myself because I would physically eject someone from my house that refused to leave. Now if they remain on my property and refuse to leave then I would call the police.

Yes, as the owner / Lessor of a property, you have the right to allow or disallow whoever you want. Does not matter if they were invited or not- once that invitation is rescinded they need to leave. If not, they are trespassing. You have the right to use necessary force to protect yourself, your family and property. Basic Law 101. Google it.

Same with a business. You go into a bar, start raising hell- you are asked to leave and you don't, you are trespassing. That is why they have guys called Bouncers- to bounce your ass out. If they had to call the cops every time a drunk would not leave, the cops would always be there.

Obviously, according to Both parties, the incident turned bad. He broke up with her and she would not leave. She caused it. Why did she not just take off?? Money? Control? Who knows, but she should have just left. When you are asked to leave somewhere it should Not take a phone call to the cops to get you to comply.

Maybe he should have just waited for the police? Or maybe she was going crazy and he was tired of her screaming at him for breaking up with her? We don't know. As the rightful owner of that residence, Reek had every right to put her out. According to the audio, which she did not deny, he picked her up and put her out. He did not hit her, choke her or punch her in the face as she later claimed in a tearful testimony on the stand.

Even if he waited for the police and took her attitude- she Still could have claimed he hit her and he would have been arrested.

Fact is she lied to the police and in court, and with trying to blackmail him this time around, she has zero credibility at all.

I think I might just stroll on down to Sauto's house and have a seat on the couch to watch TV for 30 minutes until the cops come. Thanks bro!

As a bit of trivia, I went through a spell once where I would look at old New York Times newspapers and other newspapers. When Pearl Harbor first happened, it was reported that there were Germans on the ground in Hawaii. Things were obviously pretty chaotic.

I can see that point. Here's a good write up on the law.
https://www.uslawshield.com/castle-doctrine/

Does it apply here? Reads to me like they have to violent or stealing.

Does it seriously sound reasonable to shoot someone for just sitting there saying they won't leave?
