Falcons season tickets - $12.50!

I just bought tickets for this Sunday's Falcons/Lions game from a season ticket holder. They are not bad seats, Sec 313 Row 3, pretty much similar to a upper level corner seat at arrowhead, 3 rows up. I bought them off Ebay for around $100 for all 3 tickets thinking I had done really well. Well, they show up and the face value is an amazing $12.50!

I remember when Authur Blank bought the team he asked the players what he could do to help them win. They told him to fill the stands and get rid of the astroturf. I remember hearing they lowered the price on the upper level seats, but I thought they were talking about the nosebleeds. These same seats at arrowhead would be $63.50. I bet the price will be going up soon.

Yesterday, KK asked Lamar Hunt if he would lower some of the nosebleed seats to $35 if bi-state 2 passed. KK told Lamar that several teams, including to Ravens, offer $35 dollar seats.

Lamar gave a flat out "NO" Lamar said that lowering the prices just wasn't in touch with the real world.

I hate to say this, but recently, everytime I hear Lamar speak, he sems so old and frail, and I just think he should probably retire. KK was tough on him about this, and Lamar just couldn't answer his questions.

Supply and Demand I guess....the Chiefs can sell those seats without batting an eyelash, Atlanta has never sold tickets well. The Hawks draw terrible crowds and the Braves can't sell out playoff games....

Yeah, those fans that actually went to the games in the 80's should really just stay home and watch on TV.

I didn't say that's how it should be, but that's how it is... it's a business.

I agree. When I had season tickets I gave most of them away. Sometimes it was hard to do in the '80's. But I can see much better on TV than even the best stadium seats.
