I'm STILL Predicting 10-6. Maybe 11-5...

You know, like the most of you, I'm pretty sick and tired of Carl Peterson and the inept drafting this organization seems to do nearly every year. I'm also pretty sick of the lousy tackling, lack of discipline, and poor play-calling that seems to have destroyed our dreams for this season. However, I can't help but look at our remaining schedule and think IF we fix three or four things, we still have a crack, at least, of making the playoffs--possibly of even over-taking Denver.

The six remaining games at Arrowhead are definitely winnable--though a loss to Indy, NE, or Denver would not be a surprise. We just can't lose more than one of those games. That is doable.

That leaves us needing to win four of our remaining 5 road games-- a tough chore to be sure, but quite possible. While Tampa, New Orleans, Oakland, and Tennessee are no push-overs, we SHOULD be able to win three of those games.

Which means, heading into the January 2nd game against Marty at San Diego, we could be 9-6......poised for a playoff game, IF we win.

It's JMHO, but I can still see a light at the end of the tunnel....I just hope it ain't the 5-11 train headed our way!

What needs to happen?
1. O-Line better figure it out, and NOW!
2. Better game-planning: play-calling of Saunders has cost us two games...Houston and Jacksonville. 50/50 balance (or close), USE Priest...especially in the first half.
3. Replace McCleon unless he is CLEARLY the best we can get...trading deadline is tomorrow. Otherwise, FIND somebody on the roster to throw in the fire.
4. Pray that our LB corp stays healthy; start givin' Fox some snaps to see what he's got....though Beisel has performed admirably, Mitchell's time may be now.

Note: If any of those four fail to happen, I'd say we are screwed.

I think we will win 5 of our 6 home games, with a loss to Indy.

And sorry, but this team's offense sucks on the road. Especially against good teams.

We'll beat Tampa and Tennessee. New Orleans will destroy us with their offense. We probably split the AFC West games.

8-8....just enough to get the butts in the seats and King Carl another year...oh and a crappy draft pick.

I know.....I know....I've just got this feeling they'll turn it around. It's too bad it may be too late though.

Of course that feeling might be just gas...

We should have won all of our games. Its just stupid plays and stupid decisions that is costing us. I think we can get in the playoffs, schedule isn't as hard as every body thinks it is.

Turn it around ?
The only way this team makes the playoffs is if it wins out. That would be the ticket, anything less 10-6,9-7 means we lose the tie breakers against Jax. or Houston, prolonging they are around that.We have Tenn. who can still get goofy and win out, but like the Chiefs, I see them with many problems as well..........

Denver has a 3 game lead on us, barring a major fallout, the division is in there hands.

Again, anything less than winning out is probally a waste of time.

Chances of that happening are slim......very , very slim.

I am not so sure that Atlanta and Indy are winnable. The Chiefs always struggle with mobile QB's and I fear Vick is going to tear us up.

I watched the San Diego game yesterday and Vick came alive in the second half.

The good news is that Vick is left handed. Hicks has done a better job rushing the passer this year than Holliday. Hicks is on Vick's blindside.

Fujita's been getting some rush this year too....he too will be coming from the blindside.
