Not suprising...it's how baseball is set up. the rest of the league is merely a 'farm club' for the Yankees to pull talent from.

Maybe if the Red Sox would pony up , they could get Carlos before the Yankees do. Don't let him go the way of A-Rod.

I can only hope that the Dodgers, Red Sox, or Annaheim (with their Disney money) outbid Georgie boy for Carlos' services.

In my fantasy world, beltran signs back with the royals, so they get the players traded, and beltran back. Carlos we are good fans here in KC.

Hopefully, he goes to the Yankees. In fact, I hope every great player in baseball goes to the Yankees, so we can finally bust a cap into the great american pastime once and for all.

it's not going to bust a cap in the american past time, it will just generate a bigger arms race between the red sox and yankees. ESPN will still cover it, and guys like me that like the game and the strategy will still watch it
