He wasn't active. DV said he'd have given him 15 carries if he were - which I have a lot of trouble believing, but whatever....

Man, I'm almost wishing LJ would get a season ending injury so people would just get past it.

From the DV Show:
On why Larry Johnson wasn’t suited up: “Larry wasn’t suited up because Keyaron Fox suited up in that vacant position this week. A week ago there was a spot for him and he did a real good job on special teams. We had trouble on our coverage teams, so we had him up and he did a good job again. “Larry Johnson and Omar Easy do not play the same position. Omar Easy is a fullback behind Tony Richardson and if Tony went down Omar can go in and play the position and not make a mental mistake. He’s not the blocker that Tony Richardson is but not many people are. Omar also makes a contribution to special teams. Larry Johnson isn’t really a special teams-type player. I hope to have him active this week. If Omar is down chances are Larry will be up. He ought to be up every weekend. The 46-man rule in the National Football League and every time someone gets me talking about it, it gets me going. To pay 700 athletes full salary to stand on the sideline and not get to play is a waste of time, a waste of development, and it’s a stupid, old-fashioned rule.” |

Heard DV talking about that. I was under the impression that his answer had less to do with actually playing LJ as it did with using LJ as an example to blast a rule he hates.

At this point, LJ should be giggling like a little schoolgirl at the chance to play, even if it is just special teams and backup fullback.
