Chiefs 2004 4th Quarter leads...

This year KC is 3-5 after the first eight games.

Everybody is talking about the bad record and the weak defense. All true discussions....But they have been in every single game this year into the 4th quarter leading 7 of the 8 games...and were tied in the 4th quarter in the other.

Should we be labeling this team as: "4th quarter Melt-down team" or "unable to finish".....

Here is the breakdown:

Week 1 @ Denver: 24-24 (tie) until Denver scored @ 13:21 left 4th. LOST 24-34

Week 2 vs. Carolina: 17-14 KC until Carolina scored @ 14:55 left 4th. LOST 17-28

Week 3 vs. Houston: 21-14 KC until Houston tied @ 5:20 left 4th..then lost @ 0:02 left. LOST 21-24

Week 4 @ Baltimore: 27-17 KC @ 9:14 left 4th...WON 27-24.

Week 5-Bye

Week 6 @ Jax: 16-14 KC until Jax scored @ 0:45 left 4th. LOST 16-22

Week 7 vs Atlanta: 56-10 KC WON Big.

Week 8 vs Indy: 38-28 KC @ 5:27 left 4th.....WON 45-35.

Week 9 @ Tampa: 31-28 KC until Tampa scored @ 11:50 left 4th. LOST 31-34

Wow. When you see it broken down like that, it makes you realize why they have been just pissing you off all season. They are ahead every damn game in the 4th, and for some reason choke. Either offensively or defensively, they just choke...

...quite a difference from last season when we were known as deadly in the fourth quarter...I guess this season we're just...dead...
