Frazod...Wheatly has a pretty bad high-ankle sprain. Those are real painful and take a long time to heal - I doubt that we'll wee him on Sunday. His blocker Jon Ritchie looks pretty bad, too. Lance Johnstone reinjured his groin pull, he'll be gone for a while. I have a feeling that Lincoln Kennedy will show because the Raiders aren't talking about his injury much. Dang, we pretty much avoided the injury bug til the Qualcom game. Now a pile of starters are hurt. I'll bet anyone that can play will play. This is the Chiefs and the second televised home game. They really need to put on a good show for the PR angle. But I hope they don't risk worsening the injuries for the starting group - we stll have Denver next week. Our second string guys are playing well, they're the guys that pulled off the winning drive last week. I say sit 'em and let 'em heal. We can handle the Chiefs with the replacement dudes.

I wouldn't dismiss this so easily, UD. Does Kaufman have the juice to go it alone for a whole game if he needs to? We shall see.
Personally, I'd think any injured player on either side will do their best to gut it out and play. This game's just too big to miss. Of course, if he doesn't play, and you need a back, I'd gladly give you Bennett.... ------------------ Frazod CRUSH YOUR ENEMIES, SEE THEM DRIVEN BEFORE YOU, AND HEAR THE LAMENTATIONS OF DENISE! If Wheatly is out, only Kaufmann remains a true threat. ALthough I have never understood why some teams can shut down Kaufmann like a 5th grade dwarf and others (such as ourselves) let him run all over us.
BTW - I have read one of the more difficult recipes from that book. Check it out: Add one cup of sugar Add one half gallon of water add two pints of gin (only one pint if before noon) add one pack of red Kool-Aid Stir until thoroughly mixed and only share with Gruden if he is not driving. Remember do NOT give Andre the money to get the ingredients at the store. This recipe is only for the advanced raider fans. |

Russ, I hope the spiked Kool-aid recipe stated that the contents, when mixed, would NOT fit into the Kool-aid packet. If not, many wet, sticky disasters might ensue...
Once they've mastered this recipe, its on to page 2 - Wheaties in a bowl with beer and/or milk! ------------------ Frazod CRUSH YOUR ENEMIES, SEE THEM DRIVEN BEFORE YOU, AND HEAR THE LAMENTATIONS OF DENISE! DEATH TO OAKLAND! |
