DT was a force behind the defense. He will always be missed. It's had to imagine it's almost 5 years.

I think it's safe to say he was the driving force behind the defense for many years. A player like him is very hard to find. But I wish the Chiefs would quit looking behind and start looking forward. The next draft is a start, but free agency might be a better place. I hate to say it, but Carl Peterson can't blame the Chief's defensive woes on the loss of one player.

Its saddens me to hear that there is still a seach for the cash cow in DTs death. The simple fact that the two people not wearing their seatbelts in the same vehicle died, while the person with their seatbelt suffered minor injuries. But we live in the it must be someone else's fault that we're so dumb era.

Since the story barely mentioned the trial and since the verdict was one that you evidently agree with, I think you ought not be so saddened by it. The main thing to take from the article is that DTs candidacy for the Hall of Fame is being considered in a national newspaper. Since the Chiefs went from a 20-year playoff drought to a yearly contender with his arrival and he definitely impacted games with his pass rush and his unprecedented ability to force fumbles on the pass rush, he earned it from his play. Here's that he is elected this year on his first opportunity.
