neither of these two fools were good enough to get their team out of LDS.
Arod still has a chance, but it doesn't look likely. Start looking at some other teams for mvp, the red sux aren't going anywhere.

So what if he is a DH? Most kickers in the NFL score more points than anyone else on their teams. And they are only kickers.

a) ARod doesn't play 'gold glove' defense. He will make a nice play or two, but he'll also botch routine plays.
b) Even if he was a Gold Glover on D, the MVP has basically become an award for offensive statistics. Those numbers are all that would get argued for, not how he plays defense. c) Ortiz could've played 150 games at 1st and played shitty in the field, he'd still be right there in the MVP discussion. |
